- Actually it would be, except that the diagnostic cannot be omitted.

- nose, as long as it also issues a diagnostic. After reading the ruling
- on this issue, I wondered, does this also mean that undefined behavior
- such as reformatting a hard disk has to be careful to avoid reformatting
- the block containing the diagnostic message?
